As of June 2023, Digital Realty has 300+ facilities in 50+ metro areas across 25+ countries on six continents. The company operates in the following regions: the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
In 2020, Digital Realty joined the Science-Based Target Initiative, committing to reducing its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 68% and Scope 3 emissions by 24% by 2030 against a 2018 baseline. The company is also a signatory of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact, a self-regulatory initiative – drawn up in collaboration with the European Data Center Association and Cloud Infrastructure Services Provider in Europe – designed to make the industry climate neutral by 2030.
